Remembering G. Larry James

The Loucks Games is saddened by the loss of 1966 White Plains High School graduate and 1968 Olympic Gold Medallist G. Larry James.

Larry will be remembered not only as a great runner, but also as a fan who loved all that is track and field. He was in attendance at the 2006 and 2007 Loucks Games and stood at the podium awarding trophies and medals to our winners. Many of the tributes to Larry are linked below. Larry, thank you for the thrills and leadership that you have provided over the years. The flame of the Mighty Burner will never be extinguished.
